LICENSING & HOSTING

As well as operating under our own Market Participant ID, TMA can also provide software licences to our full suite of software.  This includes TMA’s Elexon qualified Half Hourly Data Collection, Data Aggregation and Meter Data Retrieval software.

Currently, TMA operate three white label qualified Half Hourly Data Collector and Data Aggregator roles and have licensed the use of our Half Hourly Data Collection, Data Aggregation and Meter Data Retrieval software to three users within the GB Energy Market.

TMA are keeping close to the upcoming Market-wide Half Hourly mandate and will be making the relevant changes required to the current full suite of systems to support companies with their upcoming migration and to help manage the transition as smoothly as possible.

Within this industry proven suite of tools, customers can expect full access to Half Hourly Data Collection and Aggregation systems as well as use of our remote dialling engine, MDR. The HHDC and HHDA systems offer a full-featured production system for processing meter data that fully meets the commercial, operational and regulatory requirements of an Elexon Qualified Half Hourly Data Collector and Data Aggregator operating in the GB regulated electricity market. Both systems are entirely scalable to meet individual suppliers’ requirements and can produce bespoke reporting as needed.

There are three options available to any party interested in utilising these services. One option is for the Service User to host as they choose, TMA would specify the requirements for this. Under this setup, TMA would provide full assistance with the qualification process and documentation as well as in-depth training on how to operate the systems.

The second option is for TMA to host the Service User’s systems. This would mean the Service User would not be required to purchase any additional hardware or cloud storage or third party licences as TMA would host. This option also includes full assistance with the qualification process and documentation as well as in-depth training on how to operate the systems.

The final option is for TMA to be qualified on behalf of the Service User’s HHDC/DA roles. In this instance, TMA would host and operate the systems and carry out all obligations in the relevant BSCPs under the Service User’s role code.
